Fluoride is a natural mineral that strengthens tooth enamel and prevents cavities. Applying fluoride varnish is a simple yet effective treatment applied to the surface of children's teeth as a preventative measure to reduce the risk of cavities. This procedure is also commonly known as "dental vaccination."

Fluoride application every 4-6 months is recommended, especially for children who are prone to caries, have inadequate oral hygiene, or consume frequent snacks.
